Whole Wheat, Apple, Cinnamon Pancakes

Absolutely Delicious!  A perfect combination of Apple, cinnamon, topped with maple syrup.  It will soon become a family favorite.

Whole Wheat, Apple, Cinnamon Pancakes

Prep Time: 10 minutes          Cook Time: 15 minutes          Yeilds 8 pancakes


1/4 cup whole wheat flour 

3/4 cup all purpose flour

2 tbs granulated sugar

1 tsp backing powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 egg

3/4 cup apple juice

1 tsp  vanilla extract

pure maple syrup



1.  In a large bowl whisk together flours, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

2.  Whisk in egg, apple juice, and vanilla until all lumps are dissolved.

3. Spray fryin pan with PAM, heat over meduim heat.  Pour ice cream scoop size batter into pan,       about 1/4 cup, and cook until bubbles form.  Flip pancakes and cook until golden brown.

4. Butter, cover with heated syrup and enjoy!

* You can add additional juice, if pancake batter is to thick  for you.
