Brownie Drop Cookies

Prep Time 10 mins  Cook Time 10 mins Total Time 20 mins



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Cool.

  3. Beat eggs in mixer until foamy, (using a Kitchen Aide, use the regular mixer, not the whisk), then add the sugar, two tablespoons at a time (it's 12 tablespoons, converted).

  4. Beat in mixer until it thickens, about 5 minutes.

  5. Blend in chocolate.

  6. Add flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.

  7. Stir in vanilla and nuts.

  8. Using a regular spoon, drop on to a greased, or parchment paper cookie sheet.

  9. Bake for 8-10 minutes. The cookies should feel "set" when done.

  10. Let stand on cookie sheet for 5 minutes, before transferring to wire rack to cool

My Mother use to make every year for Christmas, a family favorite.
